Japan has succeeded in rejuvenating liver cells

The research team of the National Cancer Research Center of Japan used special compounds to successfully rejuvenate human liver cells and turn them into hepatic precursor cells. The report quoted Nagaya Takahiro, head of research at the National Cancer Research Center, as saying: "The operation is very simple and it may help develop a cure for severe liver disease in the future." The research team will publish this study at the Japan Regeneration Medical Association meeting this month.
